About Emma Virtual Assistance
What started as just me - Emma - has grown into a trusted team of experienced Virtual Assistants, Virtual PAs, and business support professionals, helping businesses across Herefordshire and beyond reclaim their time and focus on what they do best.

My career has never followed a conventional path, but every step has equipped me with skills that now help our clients thrive. At 18, I set myself the ambitious goal of owning a flat in London. To make it happen, I became an estate agent in a commission-based role and achieved that goal by the age of 20. I remained with the firm for a decade, developing strong skills in communication, organisation, sales, negotiation, and relationship management.

In my late twenties, my husband and I started a business together. Running and growing that business gave me hands-on experience in project management, social media, payroll, finance, VAT, staffing, diary management, administration, client relations, communication, and a touch of HR, all whilst bringing up a pair of small boys. Like many business owners, I learned quickly that running a successful business means wearing many hats, usually all at the same time.

Following a difficult period in my personal life, I founded a charity fund dedicated to supporting families affected by childhood cancer. Since 2021, I have led fundraising efforts, raising well into six figures to help families during some of the most challenging times imaginable. It remains one of my proudest achievements.

My most recent employed role involved building and developing an HR department for an international organisation, further strengthening my experience in people management, processes, compliance, administration, and business operations.

Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: my belief that skills are transferable, opportunities are there to be embraced, and businesses work best when people have the right support around them.

Today, Emma Virtual Assistance provides a wide range of virtual assistant services, including administrative support, customer relations, medical secretarial services, property portfolio management, transcription, diary management, project support, and much more which I can’t list but we lean into what our clients need so we’re the wearers of many hats! We work with sole traders, charities, property investors, small businesses, and larger organisations, adapting our support to suit each client's unique requirements.

EVA has grown from just me into a team of wonderful, diligent, hardworking individuals, and I feel lucky and grateful to work alongside such great humans every day. Each member of the team brings their own experience, expertise, and personality, allowing us to support our clients in ways I could never have imagined when I first started.

Our clients are pretty great too. In fact, some have become friends over the years. I believe that trust, mutual respect, and relationships are what keep the world turning the right way. The best working relationships are built on understanding, reliability, and people knowing they can count on each other.
